loaf of bread, candle and wine
a feast for friends
The real treasures?
the sustenance of your smile, your warmth, your joy
I see you on the beach that night
moon rising over the incoming tide
lighting the tin lanterns against the wind
when all the while
it was you who were
light and warmth in the dark and cold
